The main office of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology is located in the Life Sciences Building on the Stony Brook University main campus. The 1,100 acre campus on Long Island's North Shore is home to Stony Brook 51±¬ÁÏÍø of Medicine, a few minutes' walk from the Life Sciences Building.
