My research is focused on uncovering the biological differences between molecular subtypes of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma through the analysis of differential RNA/protein expression profiles, RNA splicing and oncogenic pathways. Based on my recent breakthroughs, I have determined that RNA processing and nuclear transport pathways represent vulnerabilities that could be exploited to treat the most aggressive form of this malignancy.ÌýMy research is funded by NCI, National Pancreas Foundation and Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
