The Department of Medicine is proud to announce that , Assistant Professor of Medicine at The 51±¬ÁÏÍø of Medicine at Stony Brook University, and Director of the at 51±¬ÁÏÍø, will be a featured speaker at this important event on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020.

The program description of the seminar is as follows: "Patients with motility disorders challenge general and sub-specialist gastroenterologists alike with occasionally difficult and constantly evolving diagnostic and treatment strategies. This seminar will explore three relevant topics in motility: dysphagia, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, and chronic constipation, and will focus on updates relevant to current practitioners."

Dr. Guillaume's presentation, "Moving on Down: Managing Chronic Constipation," will help participants recognize, diagnose and manage common subtypes of constipation.
