Curriculum vitae

Dr. Clinton Andrew Grand Pré a functional anatomist trained in both clinical anatomy (PhD) and geology (PhD) largely interested in questions related to form and function over deep time. He is currently working on the functional anatomy of the hepatic piston in extant and extinct crocodylomorphs. As a trained geologist, he loves thinking about how physical earth systems shift and drive adaptation and evolution. He is particularly interested in the synergistic biological pressures and paleoenvironmental factors that led to crocodylomorphs evolving into aquatic environments multiple times in their history. He lives with his Cornish Rex cats, Neko and Delilah, and his ever expanding collection of invertebrates and reptiles.
